Hello and thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read my profile and get some insight to what I'm about and what I'm looking for.
I must say that one of the things I love about this lifestyle is how open and accepting people are. I've always thought of myself as an open minded person and after meeting people that have kinks that I've never even dreamed of I still have not been shocked. I know I may not be into whatever they are but I can appreciate them for what they enjoy and that they have discovered things that makes them happy. I also enjoy talking to those that have similar kinks and learning from them.
I also like the social aspect that this local community offers. I enjoy going to a munch and meeting new people as well as attending events at some of the local clubs. I see this as an opportunity to learn either from observation or talking to people. Anyone that I have a relationship with will need to be willing to go to a munch or events in the community. I am looking for someone that is looking for more than just to play but to learn and further their knowledge with me and the community is a great resource that is willing to help.
I've discovered a lot about myself since I've embraced the lifestyle. There are things from my career that I had that shaped me and bleeds over into how I want my lifestyle to become. Things that are of the utmost importance are open communication, honesty, integrity, trust, a willing to learn and experience new things. I enjoyed teaching and moulding young adults into what I needed them to be. I look forward to learning so much more about the lifestyle to be able to teach and mold again with someone that wants that too. I need someone that can articulate what they want and need to me so I can have a direction for us to go. Of course if you don't know what you want, be open to discussing ideas to help discover what you want. I need someone that is confident in themselves and in discovering what they want in the lifestyle.
Some of my lifestyle interests include restraints, impact play, power exchange, finding creative ways to put a twist on things and after care. I don't have a problem with the concept of a poly relationship but I do not want to be the one added to another relationship until I have established a primary relationship of my own as of right now. The ultimate goal is a long term relationship but it is not something I expect over night or do I plan on forcing or rushing it. I am not opposed to finding and working with play partners along the way for experience, learning and of course fun. Knowing myself, there will have to be some sort of connection even with a play partner. I want both of us to enjoy what we do and get something out of whatever we agree to do.
Some of my vanilla interests include traveling, cooking, gambling, movies, sports and music. I was given some great advice about how to have a successful relationship in the lifestyle. Make sure not only our kinks match up but that some of our vanilla likes are compatible as well. I'd like to spend more time with you than just in the bedroom and will need some other things in common.
I'm very detailed and technical and that is also a carry over from my career, this will pay off for me in this lifestyle. I expect to discuss things thoroughly before anything happens. If it's a negotiation towards a long term relationship or talking through a scene before we play, this is something I need. If it's the first time we are going to play or if we are trying something new it will require a discussion first. I need to have an understanding and a comfort level to make sure we both enjoy what's about to happen and get the results we both want. I'm not saying I need a script to follow but I see some of my responsibilities to you is to find out and agree on an objective, understand your limits, discuss ways to achieve the objective and then piece everything together the way I see fit within your limits to reach our goal. I want to earn your trust so we can both explore, learn and push our limits together and enjoy ourselves.
