I've been curious about the domination/submission thing for a VERY long time. I don't know how to go about finding the appropriate person in "real life", so found this site. I really, really want to meet the man (or maybe possibly couple) who is the right "dom" fit for me. For me, my desire is around submitting and completely turning myself over to someone else, inside of a trusting relationship. (FYI, I'm not "into" pain.) In day-to-day life, I'm a very independent, successful & established person. I'm grateful for all of that, but there's something in my nature that yearns to relinquish that control and just completely give myself over to someone else.

Update: I think I'm learning that I'm more of a "switch". But with the majority of my desire residing in the submissive role. You don't have to be someone who's interested in switching...but for those of you who do find it appealing, then I'd be interested in exploring.

Someone who is transparent & self-aware. An excellent communicator. And if you don't get (or agree, rather) that it's more about the mental experience than about any toys or props involved, then you're definitely not the person for me.  Not that I don't love the involvement of toys
