Do you seek shelter from the storm?
Let me introduce myself. I am a quiet Man, of average appearance and above average intelligence, who has been a natural Master all my life. I have finished a very successful professional career. Yes, an early retirement is just as good as everyone thinks it is.
And, in looking around, I see I am fortunate, for not only am I financially secure, I also have no baggage in my life. I am fit. I am healthy. I have no family drama. I'm a clean start for you. I know that's a rare thing.
And I am a [I]Master[/I]. Not a 'top'. Not a 'dom'. A Master. Being a Master is not a title claimed by role-playing on the weekend. It's not recreational. Being a Master is a way of Life, a mindset, a way of interacting with the world for real.
Life Masters are in control of ourselves and our own lives. We achieve in our fields of endeavor. We hold ourselves to real standards and hold others to them as well. We are Men in an 'old-fashioned' way. In fact, some on this site call me Old Guard - a great compliment. Most important: we are honorable.
There aren't many of us today, but you can find Life Masters if you know how to look. We are the ones that do things for real. We aren't into building a phony ego. We don't need to pretend to be things we aren't. We believe in what Mohammed Ali once said; "It ain't braggin' if you can do it." We do it.
As for me, I am a quiet Master, given to reflection. I am also a private Master, discreet with you but not secretive. I am not an extrovert. I do not need an audience. I am highly educated. I've developed many professions in my career. Among other things, I am a businessman and a martial artist (a Black Belt though I no longer compete). I am tenacious. You have to be tenacious when you do things for real.
I believe the authentic Master/slave relationship is based upon affection between the Master and the slave, and not upon hostility or anger. It is a special kind of affection having its own rules and behaviors. It is not play.
Thus, being a real Master is not a cheap excuse to vent rage upon someone. Nor does a real Master need to display phony 'power' by performing immature actions upon his girl. Such actions are the misunderstandings of M/s role-players - and of poseurs and fakes who don't [I]admit [/I] to being M/s role-players. (Play as you like, but I advise the true, natural slave/submissive to avoid such fatuous practitioners, entirely.)
What do I seek? At this point I do not seek marriage (though I don't totally rule it out), nor do I seek to adopt a family. I live contentedly, and I enjoy seeing others from Alt casually. Most of Alt is about casual play, rather than commitment, and local girls find me a safe Master to be with. (And if this interests you, let me know and we'll talk some.) Life is good. :)
But for the right girl - the right natural slave - I can offer far, far more than casual play. In fact, she could even become a full time addition, living and serving within my own household. My standards for this are high, of course, but the rewards are also commensurate. Do you seek shelter from the storm?

So you search, on this board and elsewhere. And you encounter wave after wave of male pretenders ... the male products of Society. The Actors. The Frauds. The Liars.
You become discouraged. You ask: has Society destroyed real Men?
But still you search. Because you must.
For this woman, this rare and courageous woman, there is good news. Real men still exist. And you can find us.
In fact, we've never left. Despite being attacked daily by Society, decade after decade, we've never changed.
We've always been here, waiting for you. Waiting for your self-discovery to take its course. Waiting for time and nature to right the wrongs that Society has done to you. Waiting for you to fully realize just how important we are to you. To your happiness. To your destiny.
